Sodalite mine
Orotumba, Swartbooisdrif Dikes, Epupa, Kunene Region, Namibia
The Sodalite mine is an open pit sodalite mine operated to exploit sodalite deposits.

Mindat lists 28 minerals from the site, but only has photos of two – sodalite and cancrinite.
Cancrinite is an orange-brown mineral that often grows alongside of the Sodalite.
The Sodalite from the site is a high quality royal blue, although I have seen some pieces with white calcite too.
