Sant Corneli Quarry

Sant Corneli volcano, Fogars de la Selva-Tordera, Selva-Maresme, Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain

Sant Corneli quarry is the English name for a locale in Spain, which locally is called Pedrera Sant Corneli.

It is primarily an aggregrate quarry but produces numerous species of minerals, too.

An excellent article on a mineral groups visit to the quarry can be found in the further reading section below; it is a working quarry and visits/collection are prohibited without prior approval.

Mindat lists several mineral species from the locale, and the local collecting group also list aragonite, mesolite, natrolite, and phillipsite as being found at the locale.
