Mining has been a massive part of the economy of Bolivia for a long time now.
In 2017 mining and quarrying accounted for 9% of the Bolivian GDP.
As of 2019, Bolivia was ranked as the Xth largest supplier in the world of the following materials:

Bolivia’s Salar de Uyuni is estimated to be the largest lithium and potassium salt brines in the world, which has the potential to be extremely profitable in future as battery technologies and modern electronics and vehicles demand more and more lithium.
For mineral collectors, Bolivia is not the most popular locale in the world but does produce some exceptional and rare specimens.
Probably the best known mineral offered from Bolivia is Ametrine, that gorgeous orange-purple mix of Amethyst and iron-stained Quartz.
Collectors may also be interested in specimens of bismuthinite, cassiterite, native bismuth, native copper, and vivianite.
