Marillana Station mine is a small locale known for the production of Agate, marketed as Crazy Lace Agate.

The Agate from this locale is a range of colours from colourless to white to red, including beige, browns, ochres, yellows and mustard colours too.

Quartz filled veins and vugs are visible when the material is cut and polished.

Marillana Station is a huge area and also contains several iron ore mines, potential iron ore mines, and sources of some other interesting mineralisation, including a red and yellow mudstone known as ‘Munjina stone’, which looks very similar to ‘Noreena Jasper’.
