Hagendorf South Pegmatite
Hagendorf, Waidhaus, Bavaria, Germany
The Hagendorf south pegmatite is a granitic pegmatite which was worked for feldspar between 1894 and 1984 off and on.
Mindat lists over 200 mineral species from the site, and it is the type locality for 32 species.
It was worked from 1894 for feldspar and later for triphylite. It was eventually closed in 1984.
The locale is now flooded and is a protected bird location which is reclaimed.
