Showing the single result

Mindat lists ten minerals from the site, but Chrysoprase is the ‘gem’ from this site.

The mine is operated as an open cut. The veins of Chrysoprase are quite thin and are identified by eye after the ground is disrupted by a digger.

Most of the Chrysoprase from the site is sold cut and polished on foreign markets.
