Cerro Minado Mines

The Cerro Minado mines are ancient copper and cobalt mines which were worked off and on since ancient times, primarily for copper.

The mines produce over 80 mineral species, including the best quality erythrite in Spain – and some of the absolute best specimens of bobkingite and capgaronnite in the world.

The site produces some fantastic microminerals, with mindat hosting excellent photos of well developed connellite, olivenite, adamite, etc.
