Caspari Mine

Uentrop, Arnsberg, Hochsauerlandkreis, Arnsberg, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany

Caspari mine is an ancient antimony mine worked off and on since 1725.

It was primarily worked between 1825 and 1885 for antimony.

Mindat lists over forty minerals from the site, with it being the type locality for one fairly well known one – heteromorphite!

The underground aspects of the mine are inaccessible but some dumps may remain.
