Larger pieces of rough rock, intended for carving – lapidary artists and sculptors may be interested in some of these.
We don’t really have a definition for ‘large’, but we don’t typically put pieces in here under a kilogram.

These larger pieces aren’t something we stock too often as they take up a lot of space for something that doesn’t sell especially fast.
Imagine having 5kg lumps of fifty different minerals of a carving quality sitting around at any one time – perhaps okay in a giant warehouse but unfortunately this isn’t something we have the space for.
