Specimens of the ancient marine echinoderms known as eocrinoids or eocrinoidea.
These plates come from the Kataoua Formation of Morocco and are most likely Ascocystites sp.
Eocrinoids had a stalk and hold fast which connected them to the bottom of the ocean and used arms to move particles of food to their mouth.
They lived between the early Cambrian and late Silurian periods.
