...stop laughing.

Analcime is a real mineral, with a name that comes from the Greek word 'analkis' - 'weak' in English. This refers to the weak electrical charge generated by heating or rubbing the material.

It is usually a colourless to off-white colour, and as a rule has no commercial uses outside of the mineral specimen collecting market. It is rather difficult to classify and has been the matter of a fair amount of mineralogical debate.

We usually sell these pieces by size, but do currently have a single piece from a purchased collection in too. It is quite small but nicely formed; it is boxed but would benefit from remounting into a new box.
